I graduated in 2001 with a degree in Applied Mathematics from the
University of Colorado at Denver. I enjoy studying finite projective
geometry, particularly, the finite projective plane. This area of
mathematics has many applications in cryptography and
coding theory.
Before moving to Terre Haute, my Friday afternoons were devoted to working
with the San Antonio Students Stand and Deliver program. This
program was designed to help prepare 7th graders for the mathematics
portion of the SAT exam.
So, if you don't find me in my office or in the classroom, then you can
surely find me either playing with my children or thinking of things for my
husband's Honey-Do List. Perhaps one day, I'll carve out some time
to pick up racquetball again.
He is no fool that gives what he can not keep to gain what he can not
lose. - Jim Elliot (1949)
